Day 1 leaders Tristan McCormick and Stevie Mills have had a relatively slow start early on Day 2, but just landed on a sweet stretch where they both hooked up at the same time.
“This is absolute chaos,” McCormick said as they doubled up.
Unfortunately McCormick’s fish broke off, so they only landed one of the two smallmouth.
The Bethel University team is making short drifts down key areas that produced on Day 1. Getting bites hasn’t been an issue but the size hasn’t showed up yet.
McCormick and Mills have four keepers in the boat but nothing over 3 pounds.
