Bluebird skies to…

Currently, bluebird skies prevail across central Alabama and over Lay Lake. That will soon change. The skies will turn overcast from an approaching front from the west. An 80% chance of rain is in the forecast for Friday, then the skies return to sunny conditions on Saturday.

Where I’m going with all this is how the cloudy conditions might influence the bite, if much at all. Andy Crawford just reported that he observed boats over long points and bottom contour changes like dropoffs, just like Bill Weidler said they would be in his intel report.

Will the cloud cover scatter the fish? We’ll found out later today at the weigh-in.
