Gary Clouse just caught a 6-pound bass and moved back into the lead in BASSTrakk with 9-8 for the day and 35-4 for the tournament. He leads Derek Hudnall by 4 pounds.
Clouse recently turned 61, and has fished 100 Bassmaster tournaments, but he reacted to the big fish with the kind of excitement you’d typically see in a kid.
“If you don’t get excited with this stuff you probably shouldn’t be doing this,” he said yesterday.
