After poking around looking for some anglers fishing shallow-heavy cover, I found Bradley Dortch. It didn’t take long for Dortch to cash in as he hooked up after 10 minutes. He landed what looked to be a 2 1/4- to 2 3/4-pound fish. It culled a squeaker keeper for him. He’s in business if he is making upgrades like that.
Dortch is a former winner on the Harris Chain. He won in 2017 at a FLW Tour event. He’d love to channel that magic over the rest of today and tomorrow.
