Today’s forecast called for a 100% chance of “heavy rain.” My guess is that forecast wasn’t highly localized, or more for the entirety of the North Country.
What you see in this photo is the predicted radar for today at 4 p.m. The rain entities are going north and south of Lake Champlain.
In the meantime, the anglers are getting treated to the unusual opportunity of moving around in the slick, calm conditions. Gambles are being made, more so than anyone expected. The urge for some to move around is too tempting, since under normal conditions guys wouldn’t have the chance to adjust, due to the wind.
