Carl Jocumsen is one of the most expressive and vocal anglers I’ve ever watched. He wears his heartstrings on his sleeve.
He missed a bite, stomped his foot, and let out a scream….another opportunity missed.
Thirty seconds later he set the hook, and started screaming that he had a “giant.” He worked the fish artfully into the boat and declared it a 5-pounder — perhaps not the seven he was hoping for, but nevertheless a critical fish on Day 4.
Remember, he caught NOTHING in this starting spot yesterday, so everything he boxes here is gravy. If he does not have to mess with his flipping fish and a long boat ride, it’s even better than that.
