Got wind?

The backside of the Zeta train is passing over Cherokee Lake, as in the predicted wind. The winds have shifted from south to southwest at 17 mph, with gusts to 25 mph.

Andy Crawford just came off the water after having been out since takeoff.

“Man, it’s getting really rough out there,” he said.

Andy observed lots of movement, as in what is likely a prevailing pattern of junk fishing. He watched boats in the backs of creeks, around islands and of course, the riprap at the dam. Few, he said, were stopping on the main lake points.

Will the wind stimulate bait movement and bass activity? That is a possibility that we can try and find the answer to later today at the weigh-in.
