Harvey Horne sighting

Early this morning Harvey Horne got on the BASSTrakk leaderboard into first place with a limit weighing just over 6 pounds. Swimming inside the livewell was a limit of all spotted bass.

Horne started out on the main river channel, sacked that limit of spots and then went on the hunt for the more quality largemouth. The plan worked. Horne ventured into a nearby creek, culling out all of the spots and replacing them with a limit of largemouth. His current weight is 18 pounds. And, Andy Crawford just observed him catching a 5-pounder, back out on the main river channel.

Mixing it up is the play of the day for Horne, and should he keep culling up even more, he’ll be a top contender.
