The amount of backwater on Tellico is pretty amazing, and anglers can define spread out. I’ve been running from creek to creek, and I’ve only managed to find two competitors: Bassmaster Elite Series pro Derek Hudnall and defending Classic champ Jordan Lee.
Both are running banks, cranking and winding.
It’s not expected many anglers will put hooks into fish today, but I did see Lee land one bass.
Will these pros return to these creeks when competition begins Friday? Or are they running new water trying to build on what they learned since practice started Friday?
