John Hunter has boated his first keeper. There’s not a lot to tell about it. I was writing the last blog and allowed him to get a little too far away. By the time we got close enough to verify a catch all I could make out was he spent a lot of time measuring this fish. It’s obviously not the kind of fish that has helped him build two 18-pound stringers the last two days. But it’s a start.
