As Chris Johnston landed his fourth fish, Shane LeHew, who is fishing the same flat about 300 yards away, was culling. Unlike Johnston, who has been scouring the flat with his trolling motor on high, frothing the water with quick casts and quicker retrieves. LeHew has been parked in a very small area, patiently wailing away on smallies. (Mid-blog update: Johnston just caught his fifth keeper, giving him around 15 pounds.) LeHew is sitting atop the leaderboard at the moment, so it seems his patience is paying off.
