Living in a tent

Below is a photo of my camp and tent which i have been living out of. Being from South Africa, I had a choice to either return home during the COVID-19 outbreak, but I would have had to forfeit my season.

I wouldnt have been able to return because the borders are closed for international travel, so I decided to sit it out in the U.S. I couldnt be more determined to start my debut season of Bassmaster Opens after being here since the beginning of March.

The next photo is a beautiful rainbow as evening sets in at the end of a practice day.

Above is a nice Arkansas River kicker caught during practice.

The photo below is myself having dinner after a “braai” — a barbecue in South Africa — at my camp tent.
