After a short fog delay this morning, we caught up with Mark Menendez, fishing down near Crescent Lake. He has this entire area to himself and he has seen only three boats in the last few days.
After his 10th cast this morning, right off the bat he has a 2-pounder in the boat. Mark said that he is not sight fishing, he is only blind casting, which could give him an advantage with over cast skies and rain on the way.
