Moments after saying that on Bassmaster LIVE, Chad Pipkens landed a crucial 5-pounder that moved him into 7th place. Yesterday, he ended up in 4th place with 21 pounds, 2 ounces.
“It’s the magic hour; the bite gets much better from mid-morning on,” he said.
Pipkens is rotating between the front and back side of an island.
“I’ve got to keep sliding with them as the fish keep moving up.”
