Report from the lock

Yesterday, 148 boats locked through Lake Toho and south to points beyond, most notably Lake Kissimmee.

Today, the lock master told photographer Andy Crawford that 104 boats came through, or about 50 fewer.

Andy went both directions and his report was (obviously) those fewer boats stayed in Toho. He added there are lots of boats ganged up on prespawn community holes. And lots of boats moving around.

That makes me wonder if the fishing isn’t as good as it was yesterday, which was certainly not up to standards around here.
