Hunter Shryock has moved to a new area which looks eerily similar to the area he started in today. The big difference is current. Yesterday, the Elite Series Pro fished this area with little to no water moving at all. Today, it’s a different story. With water moving through this area now, Shryock is targeting isolated trees and variations in the grass lines where fish may stage out of the current in order to ambush prey.
Although the Phoenix Boats, Berkley Pro has a half dozen flipping rods on the deck, he’s sticking to one bait color in his presentations.
Still with only one keeper in the boat, Shryock has his head down and he’s grinding, as he knows it’ll take a full day to bring five good ones to the stage.
