With Taku Ito once again in the unofficial lead on BASSTrakk, one of his declarations from Thursday is proving true.

When asked what kind of weather he would prefer for the rest of the tournament, Ito said in his own colorful way that it just doesn’t matter.
“Always is OK,” Ito said. “Sunny OK. Windy OK. Cloudy, rain OK. All OK.
“Smallmouth like Taku, maybe.”
Then he finished with the ultimate gesture of confidence.
Pointing to himself, he said, “Smallmouth come here.”
It’s impossible to talk with this guy and not like him.
