Gerald and Le Ann, aka Lulu, Swindle are celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary today. After losing a 3 1/2-pounder that came unhooked, bounced off the boat rail and then back in the lake, Swindle put a 3-pounder in the boat just after 7 a.m.
“Happy anniversary, Lulu!,” he said as he held the fish up. “Seventeen years today.”
Swindle, a two-time B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year, started the day in 8th place after weighing 14-3 yesterday.
