Greg Vinson is fishing way up the Coosawatte River. It’s gorgeous up here in the southern Appalachian Mountains, with gin clear water, the trees are beginning to turn, and fog is rolling down the river. Vinson caught his first fish at 9:00 ET, after an hour of fishing. It was a 1-3 spotted bass. We know that’s the exact weight because B.A.S.S. Nation tournament director Jon Stewart is serving as the judge in Vinson’s boat. He’ll be weighing and release all of Greg’s fish today.
