Chris Zaldain is back to his old tricks from previous days.
The first two days he’s been chasing birds on a huge flat. Then settling in on a ridge of rocks off the edge of the flat.
Big difference is this morning the birds don’t seem as active. This is the first sunny day of the derby. So that might have something to do with that.
It hasn’t hurt Zaldain though. He just landed a 4-pound class fish after chasing a set of birds. That puts him well ahead of where he was this time yesterday.
So everything has quite gone to the birds yet.
