Grigsby officially off the schneid

After a long, frustrating day, Shaw Grigsby is officially off the schneid. At 1:51 p.m., Grigsby put his first keeper of the day in the livewell and extended both arms in the air in triumph. He didn't even have to measure it, but it was no lunker.

The catch came soon after Grigsby ran back to the Taylor Bayou cut where he had fished all of the previous three days and where he started this morning. He has it to himself now.

Grigsby caught the fish on a Strike King Menace. He said most of his fish this week have come on a Strike King Rage Bug. Those have been his main flipping baits. Grigsby has also thrown a square-billed crankbait and a frog at various times in the tournament, including today.
