Anglers from the Brunswick Academy Vikings Fishing Club volunteered recently to make repairs and improvements to native vegetation enclosures or “cages” along Poplar Creek in Lake Gaston. 
This project was coordinated with the North Carolina Wildlife Commission, Lake Gaston Association, North Carolina State Aquatic Plant Management Program and the Lake Gaston Weed Council.
