Mariner-Sails.com had a Hobie display set up that brought a lot of attention at the 2019 Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefiting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department at Lake fork. The company provides countless products for the kayak enthusiasts, including BerleyPro Visor, and FPV-Power Lithium waterproof kayak batteries. People stopped by throughout the day to admire the variety of displayed kayaks and kayak accessories. The new Hobie Mirage Passport 10.5 and the Hobie Pro Angler 14 seemed to be the popular choice among the outdoor enthusiasts.

The Pro Angler includes multiple adjustable settings. The “SKEG” pull string, allows you to pull the skeg up into the “storage box” and lock it there for protection when running through shallow water, or during storage. The “KICKSTAND” pull string, adjusts the seat to the “high” position for sitting up higher on the water.

The rod holders include tubes which extend all the way through the front, almost to the nose of the kayak, offering as much space as possible for your rods, and protection.

There are two more pull levers, which exist on the right wall of the Pro Angler. The “Transducer” lever allows you to pull oversized transducers up into the bottom of the kayak when navigating through shallow water, or banking the kayak. Similarly, the “Rudder” lever pulls the rudder up inside the bottom of the kayak.

The Rear cargo area is large enough to hold all the gear you could want and need, with bungee tie-downs to ensure it stays safe and secure. The Hobie two-piece paddle will also stay secure and out of the way in the taco clips.
