Bassmaster kayak Top 10 to weigh-in on Classic stage

PELL CITY, Ala. — Despite a full day of saturating rain, 222 kayakers hit the water and caught well over 500 bass at the inagural 2020 Huk B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series at Logan Martin powered by TourneyX presented by Abu Garcia.

Most Bassmaster kayak events will take place and wrap up the same day. Because this is Classic week, B.A.S.S. staff felt it would increase bass fishing excitement to have the Top-10 finishers cross the Classic Stage at the BJCC in downtown Birmingham.

Following Thursday’s close of official compeition, the best 10 anglers — vying for more than $30,000 in cash — were notified that they will be learning of their official finish Friday afternoon, just prior to the Classic contenders weighing their Day-1 catch.

The season will continue at Lake Fork in Texas, then to Lake Chickamagua in Tennessee, the Upper Mississippi River out of La Cross, Wisconsin and wrap up at California’s Clear Lake.
