Fans and family attending the Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster Elite at St. Lawrence River in New York can also plan on concerts and other events in Waddington’s Whitaker Park. During the Bassmaster Elite Series weekend, the Party in the Park will start daily at 11 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. Daily festivities will include live local bands, kids’ rides, food and plenty of cold drinks to enjoy. Entry into the festival is free.
Party in the Park will also host live national music acts starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. Tickets for these shows are available on the Party in the Park website for $10 or $15 at the gate. Kids 16 and under are free, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Military members and their immediate families get in free.
Friday night
On July 31, two CMT country stars will take the stage. Opener Chris Tayler and the Customer Taylor Band get the event started at 5 p.m. Kristen Kelly, who was voted CMT’s “Next Woman of Country,” will perform at 7 p.m. CMT music notable Keith Anderson closes out the night with a performance at 9 p.m. All music on Friday night is sponsored by COSTA.
Saturday night
Classic 1980s rock will be the theme for the Aug. 1 concert. After Atomic Precipitation starts the show at 5 p.m., Eliminator KC, the “#1 ZZ Top tribute band,” will start at 7 p.m. and perform all of ZZ Top’s classic hits. Headliner Little Paradise will close the evening with a set featuring all of singer Pat Benatar’s biggest hits.
