Jack’s signs on as 2020 Bassmaster Classic local partner

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Jack’s Family Restaurants, a popular chain with more than 175 locations across the Southeast, has signed on to become a Local Partner of the 2020 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk to be held March 6-8 in Birmingham, Ala., and Lake Guntersville.

Birmingham-based Jack’s will receive recognition for its support of sportfishing in media associated with the Bassmaster Classic, including B.A.S.S.’s industry-leading magazines, Bassmaster and B.A.S.S. Times and website, Bassmaster.com, as well as local media promotions through broadcast, print, digital and outdoor advertising.

“We are proud to be joined by another Alabama business to celebrate the 50th edition of the Bassmaster Classic in our home state,” said Bruce Akin, CEO of B.A.S.S. “Fishing fans traveling from outside the region are sure to enjoy sampling some of Jack’s most popular dishes, and Jack’s will enjoy the opportunity to connect with tens of thousands of Classic attendees at our exciting events.”

Jack’s is renowned for its active participation in community events, and will bring a distinctly Southern flavor with its presence at Classic venues, including the takeoff site at Guntersville’s Civitan Park and at the Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo and daily weigh-in shows, which will be held at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Bassmaster,” said Clifton Rutledge, Jack’s Chief Operations Officer. “Jack’s Southern roots and tradition combine to make this a perfect opportunity for partnership. We have anglers come into our restaurants daily and we are honored any time we have the chance to support and give back to our customer base.”
