Despite trying to make a go of it, Jamie Hartman is out of competition at the Bassmaster Elite at Mississippi River presented by Go RVing. Hartman posted earlier this week on social media that he was trying to get well enough to fish after a sciatic nerve flare up that left him unable to sit or stand.
Despite being in the hosptial only a day before, Jamie found a driver and tried to make it to the event in hopes of fishing right outside of takeoff to earn some AOY points and continue his season.
Unfortunately, he won’t be able to compete and has informed B.A.S.S. that he will apply for a medical hardship for the rest of the year. We wish Jamie the best in his recovery.
