Bassmaster Elite Angler Brandon Lester Reels In Lake Hop Title Sponsorship

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. — Bassmaster Elite Series pro Brandon Lester announced a new partnership with Lake Hop, a boat share marketplace that connects people who want to have unique experiences on the water with local boats owners who love being on the lake and sharing their passion.

“Not only is Brandon a fierce competitor, he also has remarkable character on and off the water,” said Lake Hop founder DJ Boggs. “His values of hard work, discipline, and integrity along with his passion for the outdoors aligned with the goals of Lake Hop Inc. We feel that Brandon is a perfect ambassador to represent the Lake Hop brand, and we are excited to be able to support him in achieving his goals!”

Lester is a seven-year pro with 20 Top 10 finishes in major B.A.S.S. events, but his relationship with Boggs stretches back to a time before he fished professionally. Boggs and Lester went to high school together and fished against one another at the collegiate level.

While Lester went on to pursue a career as a professional angler, Boggs eventually transformed a lifelong love of fishing, boating and time on the water into the innovative Lake Hop brand.

“I couldn’t be more excited to work with Lake Hop and my friend,” said Lester. “This company is going to bring a lot of opportunities to the boating community. When DJ discussed this endeavor with me I couldn’t wait to help represent him and his company.”

Lake Hop was created to give boat owners an opportunity to share their passion for the water with others and turn their boat into a money-making asset while also allowing guests to experience the “lake like a local.”

“The goal is to make sure everyone has the ability to experience fishing, watersports, or spending time with friends or family on the lake, without owning a boat,” explained Boggs. “This allows guests to enjoy the water with the safety of having a designated captain who already has the knowledge of the lake and the equipment, so you can focus on having fun.”
