LIVE on the Lake set for Thursday

Birmingham, AL – While everyone is living a life that’s a little different than before, B.A.S.S. and a couple of Bassmaster Elite Series Champions hope to provide some learning and entertainment on Thursday, March 26. Stetson Blaylock and Jamie Hartman are going to a small private lake in Arkansas for three hours of fishing and a Day on the Lake. They are bringing along Bassmaster LIVE cameras for all of the fans to enjoy the action on Bassmaster.com from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET.

“Fans can expect to see non-stop action,” Stetson Blaylock said. “The water is warming and the weather is improving to spring-like conditions we expect over the last few days. It should be a slugfest.”

This is a time for Blaylock and Hartman to break down a lake they’ve never fished before, answer questions from fans online and catch big bass. The duo will also explain what living smart and fishing smart means to them. During these times of uncertainty in the world, anglers want to do their part on encouraging safe practices around others.

“Catching them won’t be an issue, but who can figure out the five biggest of the bunch,” Jamie Hartman said. “Fans will enjoy seeing the multitude of baits being used and why we chose them for this lake. We’ve never been here before so learning and adjusting on the fly will be important.”

This Day on the Lake will give two seasoned anglers and opportunity to get out in nature and do what they love, which is fishing. B.A.S.S. is obviously concerned about limiting interaction and social distancing, and this format will keep everyone a safe distance apart. #fishsmart
