Brandon Palaniuk of Idaho describes his self-guided hunt that went down to the final day and a half with other hunters everywhere. “The good news was that none of them were leaving their vehicles. We spotted a herd of elk at daylight as they started to slip into the timber … I told Tiff that I had an idea where they were headed so we bundled up and took off. Three miles later we started to finally cut tracks and as I came around a big set of trees, I look up the hill and there he is 30 yards in front of me, bedded down. He jumps up as I jack one in the chamber and the rest is history! We’re eating good in 2020.”

Just last week, Gussy and his crew found success on the annual moose hunt. “It was a cold week in NW Ontario but a great time as always for our annual moose hunting trip. It’s tough country and challenging hunting but we managed to wrangle up a young bull and a cow so we’ll be eating well this winter. Legit -35 one of the mornings last week. Snowmobiles are our source of transportation for this activity so it was a battle to stay warm!
Can’t wait for next year!”
