Young Havley Kelle traveled all the way from Nebraska to attend the 2012 Cabela's B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Central Divisional. She wanted was to see a fish, up close and personal. Louisiana angler, Jan Hebert, was kind enough to accommodate her. It made Havley’s day. Thanks, Jan.

The disappointment on Jared Knuth’s (Nebraska) face is obvious. He weighed three fish today and fell from second place — less than a pound out — to third place, more than 6 pounds out.

Joel Porter (Kansas) is having a good time. That’s obvious by the way he displays this Atchafalaya Basin bass. He currently ranks third within his team standings.

Jason Pecoraro (Louisiana) is all smiles as he displays these two bass for the crowd. That’s only right. After all, they were part of the biggest bag of the day, a bag that moved him into second place in the tournament.

Beau Branine got a little help at the weigh-in from his son, Peyton. When asked who was the better fisherman, Payton didn’t miss a beat. “I am,” he said looking his dad square in the eye. “He catches the little ones. I catch the big ones.” His father just stood there, never challenging the young man.

Billy Lemon (Oklahoma) has a serious look on his face. It’s intense, like there’s no messing around with these fish. His friends report he’s actually a nice guy, if you aren’t a bass.

Cory Leita (Texas) didn’t have the biggest weight total of the tournament but he does have one of the prettiest little girls around. Azilee hung tough through the heat and the humidity to see her dad on the stage. How cool is that?
