It’s been a slow morning for Scott Canterbury. On Day 1 he weighed in 23-8, which put him in second place in the tournament and in first place in the Toyota Angler of the Year standing. He called it a blessed day, but he didn’t feel confident it would continue today.
So far on Day 2 Canterbury has four keepers for about 10-8. “Super slow,” is how he described the morning. He has hit seven or eight different spots, similar to his pattern on Thursday. He did remind us that he caught two of his bigger fish late in the day yesterday.
