With five fish in his Ranger livewell, Cory Johnston is looking to cull up. We have him currently in BassTrakk with 13.25 but I’m willing to wager he’s closer to 15 pounds. He does have two dinks he’s trying to cull out if he wants to book a date with Championship Sunday.
The Power Pole Pro just experienced the agony of angling when he hooked a 3+ pounder that he’d been fishing for and broke her off on the way to the boat. It’s a bass that would have been a significant upgrade when you’re holding on to a couple of small fish.
With the rain moving out and the sun making an appearance for the first time today, Johnston may be getting the conditions he’d most hoped for the second half of his day.
