It’s a bit of a surprise to see Canada’s Erik Luzak fishing in the river this morning rather than running to Lake Ontario.
Luzak grew up fishing against the Johnston brothers and knows this system extremely well. His initial plan was to spend his entire tournament in the lake, but on the final day of practice he found a few productive shoals in the Clayton area of the river.
The Canada pro made it clear that he was going to have a short leash with this plan before he makes his way down to the lake.
