Tale of two Walters

These two photos tell the tale of what’s going on with Patrick Walters.

The first (above), taken just now from the water by Andy Crawford, shows the calm water where he is fishing.

In this second photo, taken by me yesterday with a drone, shows waves, although subtle, washing into the inundated shoreline where he is now.

“It’s absolutely calm, no wind, and I needed it here,” Walters said to Crawford.

Indeed. Yesterday at this time, Steve Kennedy was nearby, and so was Hank Cherry, Chris Jones and Drew Benton. My hunch is the windblown west side shoreline where they all fished pushed bait against the bank, where the bass awaited to ambush them.

Today, not so, even after the squall line of wind and rain passed through the area.
