Wendlandt adds ‘huge’ 1-14 bass

Clark Wendlandt just caught the biggest 1-pound, 14-ounce bass of his life. The AOY leader had dropped to 30th place in the Day 3 standings. If he dropped two more places to 32nd, and finished there, David Mullins would win the Angler of the Year title.

The 1-14 bumped up Wendlandt two spots to 28th. He’s got four bass totaling 7-4 today. Wendlandt is in the first flight, which checks in at 3 p.m. The second flight checks in at 3:20.
