Wendlandt’s fight

In the Angler of the Year fight, Clark Wendlandt keeps punching. Literally. He is in the back of a creek, flipping stick in hand, punching his bait through hyacinth mats while lofting the occasional cast at the myriad wood targets available. “Zero,” was his response when asked how many keepers he’s caught thus far. We were hoping BassTrakk was wrong. That said, he is just now getting to the area that paid piscatorial dividends yesterday.
