Wetherell’s bait lineup

Alex Wetherell began on his primary morning spot, just a mile from the launch site on Lake Harris. He’s got two keepers in the livewell, estimated at 1 pound and 2 1/4 pounds each.

Wetherell’s primary bait is a 3/4-ounce Z-Man Chatterbait Jackhammer, rigged with a Lunker City Ribster Worm. The bait is key for locating feeding bass on the move.

Later in the day, he is using a Carolina rig, made with a 7-inch Yamamoto Senko, rigged on a 5/0 Lunker City Texposer Hook, with a 1/2-ounce tungsten weight.
