Chris Zaldain has made the longest run this morning of any of the 75 Elite competitors. When he pulled up to his first spot he smiled and said, “It took me an hour and 17 minutes to get here, not bad.”
Every Elite competing this week will be making this kind of choice—stay closer to Waddington and get more fishing time, or make longer runs to spots he feels are more productive. Zaldain clearly feels the longer run is worthwhile for him today.
