We read and hear a lot about the future of our sport. This week I’ll give you my thoughts on the subject.
I’m writing this one on Friday because I’m going to take the weekend off and spend Memorial Day with my family reflecting on the good life we have and what it means to me, to my family and to all of us. While we’re doing that, we’re going to spend some time honoring those who are no longer here, and those who made it all possible.
Before I say anything about fishing, Becky and I want to extend our prayers and condolences to the people in Oklahoma who were hit by the tornado. We know first-hand what the power of Mother Nature can do.
This is the time of year swimbaits work into my power fishing strategy.
The Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open on the Red River is over. I have to say that I feel a lot better about the rest of the season now that it’s behind me.
One of the four tournaments in a row I talked about last week is over. I wish I could say that things went according to plan, but they didn't. I ended up finishing 36 and not fishing today.
