Marshals: Day 3 Lake Hartwell

Williamsonâs 6th fish culled out a 14 ouncer, but his fifth fish of the day just expired. Now heâll have to overcome that penalty and catch a couple sizable fish to claw his way into a top 10.

Skylar Hamilton still working with an hour left to go.

Williamson just went back and managed to catch the fish he had broken off twice on. How do we know? Because along with the lure that finally landed it, it had his shakey head in its mouth, and his drop-shot weight hanging out through its gills.

Jason just caught his 5th fish, but it isnât doing well and may not make it to weigh-in. To make matters worse, he has broken off in the same fish twice now. No telling if it will bite a third time.

What a day Chad is having! Still searching for that big one.

Now the bite is starting to turn on. After losing one halfway to the boat Chris Zaldain was able to land two back to back: one greenie and one spot.

Hunting paid off. Upgrading again.

That makes number five and it’s a good one for Skylar Hamilton.

Matt Herren just pulled in fish number 3, a solid 3-pounder, running new water this morning.

Beautiful morning at Lake Hartwell as the anthem gets the party started. We did start 15 minutes late due to the vehicle accident. But all anglers are here and ready to go.
